Mouse Reviews

V7 3-Button Laser Gaming Mouse

Wow, are you sure that’s a laser gaming mouse at that price? I mean, I’m used to seeing gaming mice for $50, $60 even $70, not for $19.99, Can it really be true? Or, is this just a late April fool’s gag that the Chief Gopher is pulling on me? Oh well, at least I get to check it out.
You know the best thing about being a product review gopher? You get paid to play! Now, is that cool, or what? And since this is a gaming mouse, I’ll just have to try it on some games. Sounds like I need to check it out real thoroughly, he he he.

Sony VAIO Bluetooth Laser Mouse

Hmmm, a Bluetooth laser mouse with a sliding aluminum cover; it’s obviously got something it’s trying to hide. Maybe it’s a secret compartment for spies to hide their microfiche. Or, maybe the buttons actually control the detonation of a secret, hidden nuclear device. Darn, where’s James Bond when I need him? Oh, never mind, it’s just the on/off switch for the mouse. Wow, really had me going there for a minute.

Logitech G500 Gaming Mouse

Wow, I love this job. Can you believe it? I’m getting paid to play computer games. Haha, this is great. After all, I’ve got to check this Logitech laser gaming mouse out really well, before I can write a review on it. I guess the Chief Gopher’s not all that bad, after all. Neither is this mouse, wow, I really like the control it gives me.

Razer Imperator Gaming Mouse

Wow, once I got this mouse away from Greg and Zach, I was able to see what they were so excited about. The 5600 DPI sensitivity of this mouse really makes it perfect for gaming, especially when you want to zap the bad guy in the head. Not only that, but it’s just as good for graphics; that precision makes it really easy to use this laser gaming mouse for pixel by pixel adjustments to your favorite gopher graphics. What a mouse!

Logitech M305 Wireless Mouse

Like everything that Logitech has put out for the last 30+ years, the Logitech M305 Wireless USB mouse is another well designed, high quality piece of gear. The mouse itself is a little bit smaller than a typical desktop mouse, but a little bit bigger than many laptop mice. I like that, as my hands are little bit big and most laptop mice make me feel kind of clumsy.

The really great thing with this wireless USB mouse is that the receiver is so small, it doesn’t have to be removed from the USB jack on your laptop when you pack up to go home from work.

Logitech V470 Mouse (Yay for Bluetooth!)

At first glance, this Logitech Bluetooth laser mouse doesn’t look like much; I mean, it’s a mouse, you know, they don’t look all that exciting. Nothing like the class of a real gopher. Then you take the second glance and notice that the mouse doesn’t have a tail… cool. I like mice without tails, especially for hauling around with my laptop. But then, on third glance, you notice that they left out the dongle, that’s when it really caught my attention.

This mouse is both laser and Bluetooth, how cool is that? Talk about an ideal combination for my laptop, the only thing it’s missing is a cold drink dispenser. Don’t know where they’d fit that though.

Razer Bluetooth Notebook Gaming Mouse

Razers, start your engines… Unlike most wireless mice, which are kinda-sorta general purpose mice, Razer advertises their Orochi Bluetooth laser mouse as being specifically made for gaming. What would make a mouse better for gaming? How about 7 fully programmable buttons? If that doesn’t grab you; how about 4000 dpi sensitivity instead of the standard 800 dpi? Either way, this is a mouse that’s ready to fly.

Microsoft SideWinder X5 Mouse

Well, I guess I should have expected it; you can’t really be the big boys in the computer world if you don’t make a little bit of everything. And you really can’t be the big boys and ignore the gamers amongst us.

So, Microsoft’s come out with a gaming mouse huh? Wonder what it’ll do.
