Old Gopher: “Hey, Chief Gopher, what’s with the Logitech desktop speakers on my desk? Didn’t I just do a review on these?”

Chief Gopher: “No, you’re losing your memory. Better get a RAM upgrade. That was another Logitech desktop speaker system, the S220. I want you to check this one out too.”

JBL Duet III Speakers

JBL’s Duet III desktop speakers look to this old gopher like the champagne of desktop speakers. These are a really beautiful set of speakers, right off the bat. It looks like something made for the rich folks. The question is, does it sound like something made for the rich folks? Aha! Well, c’mon now, it’s JBL, you know, they’ve got a great reputation for high-end audio, both in home stereo systems, and commercial applications.

Harman Kardon Soundsticks III

If you’re looking for some stunning speakers, look no further. The Harman Kardon Soundsticks III has got to be the wildest looking 2.1 speaker system on the planet. In fact, these things are so wild, that their predecessor gained a permanent home in New York City’s Museum of Modern Art. Not only are they stylish, but they even manage to sound pretty good too. That’s pretty impressive for a speaker. Hmm, I wonder if they’ve got any gophers in that museum.

You won’t find a more futuristic set of speakers than these Harman Kardon desktop speakers anywhere, unless you happen to get picked up by some little green men some night.
